Disabled Parking at Queenstown Airport

Queenstown Airport has two mobility P60 car parks located directly outside the airport terminal for those picking up or dropping off passengers, free of charge. If you're traveling, four mobility car parks are located in Car Park A for your convenience.

Disabled parking services at the hub provide a way for disabled passengers to access the airport with ease. The facility offers special parking bays in short-term and long-term car parks, offering discounted rates for those who qualify. Upon arrival, they can then park in designated areas that are clearly marked areas so that they have easy access to their terminal of choice.

Additionally, customers also benefit from wheelchair assistance services which allow them to be safely transported between terminals and car parks via an electric cart provided by one of Queenstown Airport's employees.

Please note that this service is free and is available 24 hours a day all year round, making it extremely convenient for disabled travelers who may require additional help when using the airport facilities.

P2 Drop-Off Zone at Queenstown Airport

Only private drop-offs are permitted at the P2, conveniently positioned outside the departure terminal. Businesses are prohibited from using the designated drop-off area.

P20 Express Parking at Queenstown Airport

Priority parking for trips under 20 minutes in terminal car park A's designated pick-up/drop-off parking spots is free. These can be found by following the signs for "P20" from the terminal's vicinity.

Consider that you have been parked for less than 20 minutes. If that's the case, slide your ticket into the barrier arm machine to get out without having to validate it. Please park in a place not designated as P20, verify your ticket at the pay station, and then put it into the barrier arm machine to exit if your stay lasts more than 20 minutes.

Short and Long Stay Parking at Queenstown Airport

If you plan to leave your car at Queenstown Airport for over 20 minutes, you can choose between two terminal parking lots. Both lots, designated as A and B, charge the same daily amount for parking. Rates start at NZ$ 25 per day. If you need to park for a few hours or days, these garages are the best option at the airport.

The terminal's express pick-up and drop-off zone is located in the first five parking spaces of Parking Garage A. There are roughly 300 parking spots, including 4 designated for those with disabilities.

You can find Parking Lot B, just across from the rental vehicle lot, by walking right out of the terminal and along the pathway for about three to five minutes. There are 77 parking spots here.

Park & Ride at Queenstown Airport

Queenstown Airport's Park & Ride service is convenient, safe, and trouble-free. A low-priced parking alternative for people who need to leave their vehicle near the airport for an extended period.

Every day, at 40-minute intervals, there is a Park & Ride shuttle with a luggage trailer. Park and Ride's first shuttle leaves at 5:20 a.m., or one hundred minutes before the day's first flight, whichever comes first. We ensure you're taken care of by syncing the end of your trip with your airline's schedule.

It will take you about 15 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the terminal. Be sure to prepare ahead of time. If you want a relaxing start to your trip, give yourself plenty of time before your departure.

Terminal parking can be paid for with cash, credit cards, or EFTPOS at Queenstown Airport. The pay station is ideally situated on the path to the departures and arrivals area. Three stations accept cash and all major credit cards.

If you have any issues with the pay station, please visit the Airport Information Desk inside the terminal for assistance. Payment is made via credit or debit cards. Tap or insert on your journey in and out.
